Abstract |
This strategy paper addressed local staffing and training requirements that are necessary for Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTWs) to comply with the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit criteria. The recommendations in this study focus generally on POTW personnel and particularly on senior operators in charge of POTW process control. Other strategy papers in the 1990 study deal with design, industrial influents, and other issues related to Operation and Maintenance (O&M). |
