Abstract | The objective of the research undertaken was to investigate the interactions of diquat in the aquatic environment. Much research has been to develop the necessary rates, techniques, and timing of application and to determine which aquatic plants can be controlled by which herbicides. The research described was to investigate the interactions of the herbicide, diquat, in the aquatic environment and to estimate the amounts of diquat removed from the water by fishes, aquatic plants and other aquatic biota. The author wished to determine the ultimate fate of diquat. (Author) |
