Abstract |
The acute inhalation toxicity of zinc cyanide dust was evaluated in groups of 10 male ChR-CDe albino rats during single 4 hour head-only exposures. Under these experimental conditions, the Approximate Lethal Concentration (ALC) is 0.061 ag/1. All deaths occurred within 24 hours post-exposure. Zinc cyanide is extremely toxic by inhalation exposure (Baskall Laboratory Toxicity Classification). |
