Abstract | The Chesapeake Field Station of the Middle Atlantic Region, Federal Water Pollution Control Administration, conducted an intensive survey of the North Branch Potomac River Basin between Bloomington and Cumberland, Maryland, during August 1967 (see Figure 1). The purpose of the survey was to aid in verifying the model DO and BOD parameters. The survey should also show the extent of any diurnal water quality fluctuations including the effects of mine drainage. (Author) |
