Abstract |
One of the objectives of EPA's Industrial Pollution Project (IP3), initiated in 1991, was to determine how best to incorporate pollution prevention into EPA's effluent guidelines process. One task of the IP3 was to analyze the steps of the effluent guideline development process and identify where in the process pollution prevention can be considered. This document then concludes with a 'snapshot' of how EPA's effluent guidelines program is now promoting pollution prevention in the effluent guidelines currently under development. |
