Abstract |
The study was made in connection with the program of industrial waste studies being conducted by the Public Health Service in co-operation with State health departments, other government agencies, and industries. Two major sources of wastes were surveyed, namely: the butadiene plant and the styrene plant. The waste discharge outfalls and waste treatment facilities were also examined. Summaries of each of these studies are given in report. |
