Abstract | Sanitary surveys of the Maurice and Cohansey Rivers, draining a portion of the southern part of the State of New Jersey, were made by the United States Public Health Service, with the assistance of, and in co-operation with, the New Jersey State Department of Health, to determine, if possible, the sources of pollution of these streams, resulting in the reported contamination of oysters handled in the waters near the mouths of these two rivers.
