Abstract | On the basis of reports, surveys, and studies, the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare, having reason to believe that interstate pollution of the Red River of the North and its tributaries, caused by discharges of untreated and inadequately treated sewage and industrial wastes in Minnesota and North Dakota, was endangering health and welfare in both States, called a Conference in the matter of pollution of the interstate waters. The report is a summary of the precedings and discussion at the conference. (Author Modified Abstract) |
