Abstract |
The growing concern for subsurface water resources will surely be accompanied by an expanding groundwater data base, a data base which is already quite large. This report is intended to point the way towards the efficient management of this data base which will assure that pertinent information is available when and where it is needed. The discussion describes the requirements of groundwater data management, survey some available capabilities which may serve to satisfy these requirements and identify the means by which these capabilities can be used to accomplish the management of groundwater data. |
