Abstract | In addition to lead and copper tap monitoring, a system that exceeds the lead action level is triggered into the following treatment technique requirements: corrosion control treatment (CCT); source water treatment (SOWT) steps (depending on source water levels, this requirement may include monitoring and no treatment) public education regarding lead; and lead service line replacement (LSLR) when treatment fails to adequately control lead levels (this requirement does not apply to systems that have no lead service lines). |
