Abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine the need for and value of storage for water quality control in Big Creek, a tributary of the Smoky Hill River in central Kansas. The study covers water uses for the base period of 1960 and projected needs during the study period of 1970 to 2020, based on estimated growth and development. The study area is Ellis, Trego, and Russell Counties. |
