Abstract |
In October 1967, the Solid Waste Management Representative, Bureau of Solid Waste Management was contacted by the City of Alexandria, Virginia, regarding the possibility of having their incinerator tested. The city was interested in finding out if recently made changes in furnace operation had affected particulate emissions. Since the stack-emission tests had been conducted in April 1967, before the changes in operation were made, a direct comparison would be possible. A study was conducted from May 18 to 25, 1968. |
