Abstract |
The Circuitron Corporation site is located in East Farmingdale, New York. The Site encompasses approximately 1-acre in an industrial/commercial area. The Site is surrounded by similar small manufacturers and is several miles away from any residential area. The Circuitron Corporation site consists of an abandoned 23,500 square foot building that was used between 1961 and 1986 for the manufacture of electronic circuit boards. Approximately 95% of the Site is paved or covered by the building. The Upper Glacial aquifer (estimated 80 feet thick) overlies the Magothy aquifer (estimated 700 feet thick) in the vicinity of the site. Nineteen public water supply wells are located within two miles of the site. |
