Abstract |
The purpose of this report is to summarize research and findings on the relationship between lean production and environmental management systems (EMSs) in the shipbuilding and ship repair sector. In addition, this report includes recommendations for actions the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) could consider taking to improve environmental performance related to lean and EMS.
