Abstract |
Nonpoint Source (NPS) pollution has been identified as the principal remaining cause of water quality problems throughout the United States, and public education and outreach is recognized as an essential element of an effective NPS control program. There are a number of successful NPS public education and outreach programs being planned and implemented in U.S. EPA's Region 10. The report documents and evaluates several selected NPS public education and outreach programs in Region 10. |
