Abstract |
During July 1962 and August 1963 pollution surveys of the Truckee River in the vicinity of Reno, NV, were conducted by the Public Health Service at the request of the Nevada State Department of Health. The objective of these surveys was to obtain information on the river which was needed by the State and local communities for pollution abatement planning purposes. The oxygen resources of the river were of primary interest to the State and these surveys, therefore, were designed to provide a maximum amount of information on this particular aspect of river water quality. |
