Abstract | This report presents EPA's analysis and discussion of the requirements contained in SAFETEA - LU. Consistent with SAFETEA-LU, this Report reflects the input of multiple Federal partners in addition to EPA, including the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the General Accountability Office (GAO), the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the Office of the Federal Environmental Executive (OFFE). In addition, the Report also reflects comments and information from state entities and certain industry sources, such as the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA), the Slag Cement Association (SCA), the Silica Fume Association (SFA), the National Slag Association (NSA) - Edw. C. Levy Co., Headwaters, Inc., Venable LLP, and Holcim, Inc. We summarize the salient features of the report. |
