This CD-ROM contains the Fiscal Year (FY) 2001 Progress Reports published by the Office of Advanced Automotive Technologies' Energy Management Team. The Energy Management Team supports the research and development of key energy storage and power electronic technologies that are critical to the commercialization of hybrid electric and electric vehicles. The team's efforts support the Electric Vehicle and Vehicle Systems R & D programs and are focused on advanced high-power batteries for hybrid electric vehicles, high energy batteries for electric vehicles, and low cost power electronics and motors for both electric and hybrid vehicles.
