Abstract
Under the Clean Air Act of 1990, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is required to propose and promulgate National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP). In keeping with this requirement, the EPA proposed a standard to control perchloroethylene (PCE) (also known as tetrachloroethylene) air emissions from dry cleaning facilities on December 9, 1991. The purpose of this analysis is to evaluate the impacts of the final NESHAP for promulgation.
