Abstract |
This monitoring study was initiated with the overall objective to develop a data base in support of an approved 'bubble concept' strategy to reduce fugitive dust emissions in the vicinity of an integrated steel-making complex. A particulate monitoring network was established around the ARMCO (Integrated Steel Works, Middletown, Ohio) in March 1980. Total suspended particulate (TSP) and inhalable particulate samples were routinely collected within the network following prescribed procedures. The effect of off-mode particle collection by the TSP high-volume sampler was also investigated during the course of this study. |
