Abstract | The report gives the results of a study in which dilute solutions of mixtures of chlorinated hydrocarbon pesticides were analyzed by electron capture gas chromatography. Lindane, heptachlor, aldrin, heptachlor epoxide, and o,p' - DDT can be measured with acceptable accuracy at a concentration of 0.1 micrograms/liter. Dieldrin, p,p' - DDE, p,p' - DDT, endrin, and methoxychlor appear to be more troublesome. |
