Abstract | The report is an appendix to the main report, Utility Environmental Impacts: Incentives and Opportunities for Policy Coordination in the New England Region (PB94-214509). This Appendix provides a specific reference volume for, and analysis of, the jurisdiction, responsibilities, organizational structures, and interrelationships of the public utility, environmental, and facility siting agencies in each of the six New England states. It is designed to provide regulators and those affected by regulation a single document that summarizes the regulatory statutes, policies, and practices that address the major environmental impacts of electric utilities. The report also includes a description of the organizational structure and a detailed listing of contacts for each agency. |
