Abstract
Several regulations require the use of stationary source stack sampling procedures to determine the amount of emissions. The procedures are costly and require much planning and time to complete. If there are errors in any procedure, they might not be discovered until after the sampling trip. One way to reduce the chance of errors is to have and to follow a quality assurance plan. The paper discusses the planning and possible errors and how the quality assurance plan may prevent or minimize errors.
