Abstract |
This report describes the quality control procedures, calibration, collection, analysis, and interpretation of data in measuring the activity of gamma ray-emitting radionuclides in environmental samples. Included in the appendices are basic data for selected gamma ray-emitting radionuclides, the uranium-235 series, the uranium-238 series, and the thorium-232 series. Typical pulse height spectra of selected gamma ray-emitting radionuclides measured with a NaI(Tl) detector are included in an appendix. |
