Abstract | The document is a compilation of the analytical methods that the USEPA Office of Water Regulations and Standards (OWRS) used in the National Sewage Sludge Survey, as well as methods proposed for monitoring under 40 CFR Parts 257 and 503, Standards for the Disposal of Sewage Sludge. These methods are taken from OWRS Industrial Technology Division (ITD) methods and from 'Methods for Chemical Analysis of Water and Wastes' (MCAWW). Contents discuss: organic compounds using GCMS and GC techniques; metals using ICP, GFAA, CVAA, and ICP/Semiquantitative screen techniques; and classicals using gravimetric, spectrophotometric, electrode, potentiometric, Cd reduction, and ascorbic acid reduction techniques. |
