Abstract | This first five-year review for the Higgins Farm Superfund Site (Site), located in Franklin Township, Somerset County, New Jersey, was conducted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 2, in accordance with the Comprehensive Five-Year Review Guidance, OSWER Directive 9355.7-03B-P (June 2001). The purpose of five-year reviews is to assure that sites implemented remedies protect public health and the environment and that they function as intended by the decision documents. This report will become part of the Site file. This Site was addressed in two remedial phases. The first phase provided an alternate water supply for nearby residents. The second phase is the remediation of contaminated ground water. |
