This Interim Record of Decision (ROD) presents the selected remedial action for vadose zone soil at Site 24 at Marine Corps Air Station (MACAS) El Toro, located in El Toro, California. The selected remedy for remediation of soil at Site 24 is soil vapor extraction (SVE), the U.S. EPA presumptive remedy for VOC-contaminated soil. The process uses a vacuum to pull VOC-contaminated vapors from the soil through SVE wells.
