Abstract |
This report evaluates the impact of proposed Senate, House, and EPA regulations regarding significant deterioration of air quality on the electric utility industry. The following issues are evaluated: aggregate impact of significant deterioration requirements on new coal-fired power plants; implications of Class I area designations; impact of alternative Class II increments; implications of stack height limitations; and minimum degree of emission control. |
