Abstract |
The Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972 designed to 'eliminate the discharge of pollutants' gave impetus to the construction of wastewater collection systems and the development of waste management methods. The Manpower Manual was prepared to meet the growing need for manpower information in the water pollution control field. It develops manpower requirements for the effective operation and maintenance of wastewater collection systems in cities and towns less than 150,000 in population. |
