Abstract |
This research program was conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of physical chemical treatment of raw municipal wastewater and, more specifically, to evaluate the performance of the system as a whole, the performance of the individual treatment processes, and the costs associated with operation and maintenance. The performance data are summarized according to the five process flow schemes used in addition to discussion of the individual treatment processes. Cost data are presented for each treatment process. These data are used to construct an estimate of operating and maintenance costs for a 10 mgd facility. |
