Abstract |
Chattahoochee River survey determines the existing quality of river water and describes the self-purification properties of the river relative to raw sewage discharges from various sources. Quantitative physical, biochemical, biological, and bacteriological information is presented to describe the current status of the river. The self-purification capacity of the Chattahoochee is established under free-flowing conditions based on existing parameters. Design criteria for treatment of wastes is based on bacterial contamination data. |
