Abstract |
In an effort to determine if septic tank soil absorption system performance is influenced by the depth of ground cover over the system, data from 836 individual septic tank systems have been reviewed. The data encompass five climatic areas and a variety of soils ranging from the very poorly drained Iredells of Mecklenburg County to the excessively drained Plainfield sands of Michigan. |
