Abstract | This document outlines the energy impact on each of the four alternative air quality standards for ozone. The cost estimates are based on the least-cost control strategy for each source evaluated. Recently completed studies on energy impacts associated with asphalt paving, gasoline marketing, automobile and light truck body painting operation, and petroleum refining form the principal data base on energy impacts used in this study. The estimates of the overall impacts are based on 90 non-attainment Air Quality Control Regions and on the impact associated with specific control strategies. |
