Abstract | Rats were dosed at levels of 0, 10, 50, and 250 mg/kg; maternal toxicity and deaths occurred at 250 mg/kg; a significant increase in the incidence of fetuses with cleft palate and with absence of renal papilla was seen at 250 mg/kg. Embryo-fetal toxicity was noted at all levels tested (decreased fetal weight, increased fetal death at 250 mg/kg; and increase incidence of skeletal variations at 10 mg/kg and above). |
