Abstract | Because land pollution problems are likely to increase in the future, this study was undertaken to formulate hydrogeologic and administrative strategies for handling effectively land or ground-water pollution emergencies. Case histories of 116 land and ground-water contamination incidents and the programs that were developed to restore land and ground-water quality were documented from the literature and summarized. |
