Abstract |
The report describes the work performed to accomplish the tasks outlined in the Hazardous Waste Reduction grant from the Minnesota Waste Management Board (WMB). The research has been completed as described and has succesfully accomplished its purpose of identifying the feasibility of recycling wastewaters treated by ion exchange at metal finishing shops as a method of reducing hazardous waste generation. This study does not evaluate the economics of ion exchange versus any other form of metal or cyanide pretreatment. |
