Abstract |
An algorithm was developed for finding the optimal management policies for the dynamic operation of a system of mulitpurpose reservoirs, tertiary wastewater treatment plants, wastewater retention basins, and navigation locks and dams. This management procedure is designed to interface with a real-time water quality monitoring system so that operating policies can be adjusted to reflect changing environmental conditions. The Trinity River Basin in Texas was selected as an example system for specific recommendations. |
