Abstract | The study was undertaken to ascertain the absolute and relative amounts of p,p'-DDT in blood, brain, and cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) at a given time after the oral administration of an intoxicating dose of the compound in order to elucidate the role of CSF in the pathophysiology of DDT intoxication. Although there have been previous reports of blood and brain concentrations of DDT, this study appears to represent the first reported data of DDT in CSF. |
