Abstract |
The test mixture was administered to one male rat each at a dosage of 670, 1000, 1500, 2300, 3400, 5000, 7500, or 11,000 mg/kg. Surviving rats were observed for clinical signs of toxicity on the day of dosing and over a 14-day observation period. Death occurred within one hour of dosing in the rats dosed at 3400 mg/kg or higher. No clinical signs of toxicity were observed in the rats dosed at 670 or 2300 ing/kg, The rat dosed at 1000 mg/kg exhibited salivation after dosing. Salivation and spasms were observed after dosing in the rat dosed at 1500 mg/kg. The rat dosed at 3400 mg/kg exhibited tremors, spasms, salivation, lung noise, and labored breathing after dasing. Salivation, tremors, spasms, and prostrate posture were obsented after dosing in the rats dosed at 5000 or 7500 mg/kg. The rat dosed at 11,000 mg/kg exhibited tremors, spasms, salivation, and lung noise after dosing. |
