Abstract | Propasol B (CAS No. 5131-66-8) was evaluated for subchronic toxicity. The test substance was administered by gavage to rats (6/sex/group) at doses of 0, 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg body weight for 14 consecutive days. No mortalities or obvious signs of systemic toxicity were observed. Treated rats did not differ from controls in body weight gain, food consumption, organ weights, organ/body weights, clinical chemistry, hematology, or gross and microscopic pathology of liver, adrenals, kidneys, spleen, heart, testes, and ovaries. |
