Abstract |
The Global Ecosystems Database Project (GEDP) is developing an integrated global database to support global change characterization and modeling. One CD-ROM of integrated data was published in 1992 (NOAA -EPA, 1992) with supporting documents, and another is in development. The paper describes current data integration work and discusses future directions. The current integration effort adds regional databases and model outputs along with additional global data. A research effort is planned to evaluate effectiveness of the approach in supporting modeling and research. |
