Abstract
This is a hearing on the pollution of the interstate waters of the Missouri and Kansas Rivers held upon order of the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare, the Honorable Arthur S. Flemming, and pursuant to due notice of the hearing given under the Federal Water Pollution Act and regulations. It was conducted on the basis of reports, surveys, and studies, that discharges of untreated or inadequately treated sewage and industrial wastes from the cities of Kansas City, Kansas, Kansas City, Missouri, and North Kansas City, Missouri, and industries associated therewith, cause or contribute to pollution subject to abatement under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act.
