Abstract |
Revised Standards of Performance for the control of emissions of nitrogen oxides from electric utility power plants are being proposed under the authority of section 111 of the Clean Air Act. These standards would apply only to electric utility steam generating units capable of combusting more than 73 MW heat input (250 million Btu) of fossil fuel and for which construction or modification began on or after the date or proposal of the regulations. This document contains background information, environmental and economic impact assessments, and the rationale for the standards. |
