Abstract | Mathematical models are becoming an increasingly important 'tool' for predicting, under a variety of conditions, water quality behavior in an estuary. The purpose of this report is to present recent Chesapeake Technical Support Laboratory studies on use of these models in the Potomac Estuary, specifically, the Thomann Model (time-dependent version) and the FWQA Dynamic Estuary Model. |
