Abstract |
This Technical Assistance Document (TAD) provides guidance to EPA Regions and States with primary enforcement responsibility under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) regarding EPA's interpretation of the requirement to delineate 'other sensitive ground water areas' (OSGWAs), as related to the Revisions to the Underground Injection Control Regulations for Class V Injection Wells (40 CFR 145.23(f)(12)). The guidance is designed to implement national policy on this issue in a consistent fashion. The SDWA provisions and EPA regulations described in this document contain legally-binding requirements. |
