Abstract |
The U. S. Bureau of Reclamation and the California Department of Water Resources jointly plan to construct a master drain in the San Joaquin Valley for the purpose of collecting and transporting highly saline agricultural drainage waters to a disposal point in the Sacramento - San Joaquin Delta near the City of Antioch. From its inception late in 1965 the Central Pacific Basins Comprehensive Water Pollution Control Project of the Federal Water Pollution Control Administration (FWPCA) has devoted its resources to a detailed investigation of this complex problem. This report summarizes the findings of that investigation. (Author Modified Abstract) |
