Abstract | This report emphasizes urban land use/environmental quality relationships. While a general framework for the analysis of these relationships has been developed, and much literature reviewed, the project has concentrated on two types of models: (1) physical impact models for assessing the environmental impact of urban stormwater runoff, and for evaluating the capacities of sewers and wastewater treatment plants; and (2) a cost distribution model for assessing the cost to be covered by different groups in response to new urban and suburban development. |
