Abstract |
The purpose of this report is to summarize the information known about the health effects of carbon monoxide (CO) and ozone (O3), and how that information is used by EPA to set National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS's). An additional purpose of this report is to discuss the sources most likely to contribute to high levels of CO and O3 and how EPA control programs will reduce emissions from these sources in the future. For ease in reading, all of the information in this report is presented in question and answer format. |
