Abstract |
This report presents the key findings of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 4s review of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) environmental enforcement program. The evaluation included the federally delegated Air (CAA-Stationary Source), Water (CWA-NPDES) and Hazardous Waste (RCRA-Subtitle C) enforcement programs. EPA Region 4's review of the South Carolina enforcement program has determined that the SCDHEC has a thorough understanding of these programs and does an excellent job implementing the delegated enforcement programs. |
