Abstract | This report covers work under Phase 2 of Project E-66. The objectives of Phase 2 were to: (1) Investigate the effect of filter face velocity and sampling time on solid and volatile particle collection by a Teflon membrane filter, namely the Pall Teflo filter; (2) Examine the effect of dilution conditions on particle measurement, including CVS primary dilution ratio, residence time and temperature, and secondary dilution ratio and residence time; and (3) Study the effect of exhaust and dilution system conditioning on particle measurement. |
